Day 8 #journey2_160

Here is it…what many people have told me they have been waiting for…Day 8 #journey2_160 weigh-in. I am ecstatic to report that I officially removed 5.2lbs in the 1st week of my journey. This means that I removed 14% of the 37lbs I am wanting to get rid of. My week was not full with perfect eating but it was what I would call balanced eating and I am beyond proud of myself. This leaves me 31.8lbs to go!

Here are my body shots for the beginning of week 2. Not sure if I see a difference yet…but I know to smile next time…not the sexiest picture of me…OMG!

Here is my food for Day 8. I must say that I loved my food today. The top, middle photo is mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto and then sauteed in EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)…it was SO good!! The bottom middle is a chicken fajita. I contemplated having a tortilla but I opted to go for it because my carb intake for the day seemed low. It was So good too!

Today was a work day for me. I do work from home as I own multiple business. In the midst of being focused on my projects, I forgot to take my chicken out of the freezer for supper. So we ended up doing takeout and my husband wanted some pizza, so I decided to have pizza for supper as well. I chose to eat 1/3 of the pizza I would normally eat, 6 slices down to 2, and have a big salad with it. I also did not eat the crust. This is the first time I’ve had any heavy carbs in a week. I then kept with I habit, some may call a tradition, and I chose to have a Sundae on Sunday. After this dinner and dessert, I was feeling extremely groggy and heavy, so I went out for another 30 minute power walk! If anybody ever sees me eating pizza or asking for pizza again tell me I’m crazy and hand me a chicken breast! Bring on Day 8!

I am still walking every single morning with R.H. (my hubby) and loving it more and more everyday.
